Community Bowenwork
This format delivers gentle, hands-on sessions that support your body's natural ability to release tension and restore balance. These sessions work with the fascia and nervous system in a relaxed, communal setting.
Each session includes 45 minutes on a treatment table, with spacious time for rest and integration.
What to Expect from Bowenwork
Bowenwork uses light, precise movements on muscles, tendons, and fascia to help shift the nervous system from a stress response toward rest and recovery. Many people notice reduced pain and improved range of motion immediately after a session. The body continues responding for several days, often bringing deeper sleep, increased energy, and a lasting sense of calm. Because the technique is so gentle, it is appropriate for anyone.

About Alexandra
Alexandra Heiser has been practicing bodywork for over twelve years. Her path began through her own healing. A severe back injury while traveling in Australia led her to receive her first Bowenwork session in 2004. One treatment brought such profound relief that it shaped the course of her life.
She trained as a Licensed Massage Therapist at Port Townsend School of Massage and became a Professional Bowenwork Practitioner at the Seattle Center for Structural Medicine. Her studies include acupressure and Chinese medicine fundamentals with Ching Liu at Downeast School of Massage, Reiki, Polarity Therapy, and ongoing work in Tensegrity Medicine with Kelly Clancy. Most recently, she has immersed herself in polyvagal theory, attachment, and trauma-informed somatic practice with Will Rezin.
Alexandra's background in dance, yoga, and qigong informs everything she does. She brings curiosity, gentleness, and a reverence for the body's innate wisdom to each session.
